	Narrative

My Dad's fathers side of the family is Irish, and his mom's side is Austrian. 
 
Dad's fathers side was originally from Kilarney Ireland and they came to America during the Great Potato Famine and settled down on a farm in Pennsylvania. 
 
My Dad's mothers side is currently being researched.

Mom was from West Virginia - after she was born there was a fire and her mother died, her father was crippled with a peg leg unable to take care of the infant so my mother was adopted out to the Caine Family who taught her good family values with much love and compassion.

Mom's past family history is very vague to say the least, we're currently doing a history search right now. We do know however that during a hospital stay the doctors wanted to do a history search on my mom, something to do with her feet and blood type. 
They had discovered that she is a descendant of the late king and queen of Spain.  
"Go Figure??" 
More to follow as history search is completed.

When Dad and Mom became of age they both joined the U.S.Army and helped out their families. " Yes My Momma Wore Army Boots "

Both were far away from their families serving their country in the 
U.S.Army.  Soon two lonely hearts became one and they began a fruitful life together raising 6 sons and a daughter.      
" I was the middle child ".

Dad was a good provider and worked very hard at two jobs to support us all.  Financially things were indeed very rough for us all, but some how we always managed.  We did not always get what we wanted, in fact we seldom ever did, but we always got what was necessary and needed to survive. 
Mom was the caretaker of the brood and  we were a handful to say the least! 
I don't have a clue how she ever did it to tell you the truth. 
I guess I never will. 
Together they created an Army of their own at home. 
Full of Love, Understanding, Compassion, Good Family Values, Discipline, Faith, and above all Honor and Pride.

It may appear to others looking in from the outside that our family is just as dysfunctional as most, but there is support within and my parents did all they could, considering the alternatives.

I respect all that they stood for both good and indifferent, and I feel very proud that they were my parents.

God Bless them both and keep them safe and secure within your loving kingdom for always.
